Pioneer Library System (PLS) invites you to its Kindergarten Night in partnership with Moore Public Schools on Monday, August 3, 6–7:30 p.m. at the Southwest OKC Public Library, 2201 SW 134th in Oklahoma City. Educators will share activities and tips to boost the skills needed for kindergarten readiness. Children will be encouraged to explore various skill-building stations.

Navigating kindergarten doesn’t need to be overwhelming! PLS is here to help you engage in interactive activities with your child to develop the academic, self-management, and social skills needed for them to excel in kindergarten. This come-and-go event will provide parents and caregivers with the information needed to transition to a school environment, along with tools and resources to continue learning at home. Each station at the event will focus on a specific aspect of school readiness to equip your child for the classroom.

Children attending kindergarten this fall will receive a packet of activities and supplies to practice during the summer. This program is designed for children ages 4-5. Supplies are limited to the first 75 children. Registration opens July 20 at 6 pm, and registration for the children in attendance is required.
