Learn how to spark hope in others! Join more than 2.6 million Americans nationwide who have been trained to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge. Mental Health First Aid teaches participants a five-step action plan (ALGEE) to support someone developing signs and symptoms of a mental illness or experiencing a variety of crises. Through this internationally renowned and evidence-based training, participants earn a three-year certification. Whether you are supporting someone in a professional or personal capacity, the skills you learn through Mental Health First Aid will help you effectively encourage mental wellness and can save a life.

MHFA OK provides Mental Health First Aid trainings working to serve all communities and sectors throughout Oklahoma. This is a Blended/Virtual training, which requires two hours of online pre-work to be completed before the live training session. The training will be conducted via Zoom – webcam and microphone are required to participate.

  • Pre-work must be completed before the beginning of the course to receive certification
  • A minimum of 10 registrants are needed to hold the course
  • The $75 registration is non-refundable unless the course is canceled due to lack of registrations
