OW is the time to fill out your FAFSA. I have gotten into the habit that as soon as I complete my taxes online, I fill out my FAFSA. All of the information is right there on the computer screen and it makes everything go so much smoother.
Have you ever considered going to college, but thought you could not afford it? Think again! Fill out the FAFSA for FREE and contact the school of your choice. Ask what kind of Student Aid you qualify for. I myself thought I could not afford it and after I filled out the FAFSA, I found out that I qualified for Pell Grants –and my Pell Grants pay 100% of my tuition and books!
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Pell Grants are awarded usually only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or a professional degree. (In some cases, however, a student enrolled in a post-baccalaureate teacher certification program might receive a Pell Grant.) I found the time by taking mostly online classes and I am almost finished with my first degree. So fill out the FREE forms and see what you qualify for. You may be pleasantly suprised. (I know I was!)

Helpful Hint: ONLY fill out the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov or a paper FAFSA that you pick up at a school. There is NO fee for filling out and submitting a FAFSA so if anyone tells you that there is a charge they are lying and you should RUN AWAY FAST!
