Lighthouse Charities Sailing Camps offers sailing lessons to children and adults throughout the sailing season. Sailing camps are hosted by the Oklahoma City Boat Club at Lake Hefner and teach sailing in a safe, educational and fun environment.
The Lighthouse Charities Youth Sailing Program supports both serious competitors and recreational sailors of all skill levels and is focused not only on building sailing skills but also promoting sportsmanship, fostering teamwork and strengthening respect for oneself and others.
Weeklong summer camp sessions take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, June through August. Registration is open to youth ages 8-17 and costs $275 per week for OCBC members and $325 per week for non-members.
The Lighthouse Charities adult classes are held one weekend a month during the sailing season and are geared to get students out on the water as quickly as possible. Private adult sailing lessons are available upon request.
