Thrill seekers looking for a place to test out their skills have plenty of fun options to explore. The Oklahoma City metro offers several public-use skate parks designed for BMX, boarding and skating.

Edmond

Mathis Skate Park – 1501 W Covell Rd, Edmond

  • half-acre skate park
  • open 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Guthrie

Ritzhaupt Park – 1708 W. Noble, Guthrie

  • open until 10 p.m.

Midwest City

Mid-America Kiwanis Skatepark – Cambridge Dr, Midwest City

  • open-air, 10,000-square-foot modular facility
  • open dawn to dusk

Moore

Moore Skatepark – 1903 NE 12th St, Moore

  • open dawn to dusk

Norman

Blake Baldwin Skate Park – 201 W Daw St, Norman

  • the features from the original skate park have been placed at various parks around town

Mat Hoffman Action Sports Park – 1700 S Robinson Ave

  • Features include a bowl and street course with a half pipe, BMX berms handrails and more.
