K9 University is an Ivy League dog educational institution focusing on dog training needs from the very basic, to the very advanced and specialized training. They are sought by training experts as a behavioral resource across the Midwest and provide help with complex conditions, and severe behavioral issues, as well as dogs that just have a bad habit. Recommended by most Oklahoma veterinarians, K9 University is located on seven beautiful acres; all of which are manicured and maintained for the purposes of our client’s training pleasure.
They are proud of the large 5,000 square foot climate-controlled building, with a 1,500 ft Behavioral Lab, consultation rooms, training rooms, and of course, the 7 acres of manicured training fields for when the weather cooperates. All of this is designed to make your training experience the best in the industry. All of the training may be accomplished by either entering into group classes, private tutoring, or the Boarding School option. Some of their dog training classes cover general obedience, personal protection training, police dog training, search and rescue, tracking, drug dogs, cadaver search, Canine Good Citizen® training, Therapy Dog training, Occupational Dog Bite Safety (Canine Assault Prevention Classes/Avoiding Dog-Bites Classes), Trainer and Handler Seminars/Clinics, Seizure Detection Dogs, Dog Training Seminars, specialty use dogs, Schutzhund seminars, and many other facets of dog training, which makes them very good at reading dogs, and dealing with problem or difficult behavioral situations.
