Outdoor Movie & Concert Lineup

Long summer days lead to warm summer nights and a few extra hours to enjoy outdoor fun! To help fill those extra hours, here is a list of outdoor movies and concerts happening across the Oklahoma City metro. Pack up the family and a bottle of bug spray and head out to enjoy a flick or some tunes under the stars.

Outdoor Concerts happening across the metro:

Concert in the Park at Hafer Park

FREE Concerts in the Park at Hafer Park (1034 S. Bryant, Edmond) features live outdoor music on Thursdays, May 26 through Aug. 18, 6:15-9 p.m.

Summer Concert Series at Redrock Canyon Grill OKC (9221 Lake Hefner Pkwy) features live music on the patio every Thursday night, May to July. 6-10 p.m.

Art Afloat Showboat Concert Series on the Bricktown Canal (111 S Mickey Mantle Blvd). Oklahoma musicians will perform aboard the Bricktown Water Taxis on Thursdays. $25. 7-10 p.m.

FREE Concerts in the Park at Chisholm Trail Park (500 W Vandament, Yukon) features a series of FREE outdoor concerts of a variety of musical genres including country, classic rock, patriotic, classical and pop every Thursday night between June 1 – Aug. 3. 7 -8:30 p.m.

FREE Summer Music Series at RIVERSPORT Adventures (800 Riversport Dr) features live outdoor music and craft beer & cocktails on Saturdays in May-August. 3 – 6 p.m.

FREE Sunday Twilight Concert Series presented by Arts Council of Oklahoma City on select Sundays June through October from 7:30-9 p.m.

FREE Summer Breeze Concert Series at Lions Park (450 S Flood Ave, Norman) features national and local musicians performing. These May through August, Sunday evening concerts are casual family-friendly events. Bring a blanket and picnic basket. Select Sundays, 7:30 p.m.

FREE Concerts at Scissortail Park (415 S Robinson Ave) features local, regional and national artists and musicians on select evenings. Concerts will be held on the Love’s Travel Stops Stage & Great Lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs.

 

Outdoor Movies happening across the metro:

FREE SONIC Summer Movies at Myriad Gardens (3o1 W Reno Ave) on select Wednesdays in June & July. 7-10:45 p.m.

Dive-In Movies at The Station at Central Park (700 S Broadway, Moore) features pool-side movies and swimming. $5. June 10 & July 15 at 8:30 p.m.

FREE Movies in the Park at Moore Parks (various locations) on Aug. 4 & 18 and Sept. 22. Activities begin at 8 p.m.; movies at sundown. Concessions available.

FREE Movie Night @ the Park at Mitch Park in Edmond. Movies start at dusk on select Fridays each month. Families are welcome to bring food and refreshments.

FREE Outdoor Movie Series at Lions Park (450 S Flood Ave, Norman) features a FREE outdoor screening of popular movies and more on select Fridays all summer long. Activities begin at 7 p.m.; movie at sundown.

FREE Floating Films at RIVERSPORT Adventures (800 Riversport Dr). Movies will be projected on the pump house of RIVERSPORT Rapids. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and watch fun films from the banks of the lower pond or rent a tube or raft to watch from the water. Must be 8 or older to float on the water. June 17, July 1 & 15, Aug. 5 and Sept. 16. Movie begin at sundown.
