The story follows a glamorous Broadway starlet on the night before her wedding, her dashing fiancé, two bumbling gangsters in disguise and a host of eccentric characters — all set to toe-tapping music with fun dance numbers.
“This show is such a fun, fast-paced experience,” said director Renae Perry. “It’s full of big laughs, catchy music and over-the-top characters. The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving spoof of old-school musicals, and while there’s a bit of light innuendo and a silly seduction scene, it’s all done in good fun. We recommend it for middle school and up — families with older kids are in for a great time!”
