Description

Founded in 1893, the OU College of Pharmacy carries a rich tradition of highly trained, successful pharmacists. Its graduates enter the health care field ready to provide patient care in diverse settings that match their career goals. The college’s quality is reflected in its top 31 ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

Students learn within the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, a comprehensive academic health campus in downtown Oklahoma City. Surrounded by hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, research facilities and an NCI-designated Cancer Center, they gain hands-on experience in the state’s premier health care environment. The college seeks well-rounded students who show care for their communities and are eager to lead the future of pharmacy.

The college also offers opportunities for younger learners who want to explore pharmacy. Future PharmeRx Day invites students in grades 6th to 12th to discover pharmacy through interactive activities each June. High school seniors interested in a pharmacy career can apply to the early assurance program, which offers leadership development, pharmacy experience and dedicated advising to support their goals.

For more information, visit their website or email oupharmd@ouhsc.edu. Applications open Sept. 1 and close April 15.
