Erna Krouch Preschool is the oldest continuously operating preschool in Oklahoma City. The preschool moved to Temple B’nai Israel in 1955 and was named after a woman who loved children and who had a dream of welcoming children of all races, creeds and ethnic origins in the Oklahoma City area. Today, Erna Krouch Preschool continues to follow in that tradition.
They welcome children of all races, creeds and ethnic origins from two to five years old and their Extended Care Option is a first-rate example of what solid early childhood programming should be. After the Jewish Community is served, enrollment is open to the community at large on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 2, 2 1/2, 3, and 4-year-old classes and pre-kindergarten programs available.
