Celebrate the end of the school year with a FAMily Day at First Americans Museum! Held on Friday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., FAMily Day: Amazing Animals will celebrate relatives on land, in water and up in the air. Perfect for homeschool groups, families and children who love animals, this event features activities and demonstrations that reveal the cultural significance of animals and promote wildlife conscientiousness and care. Plus, participants will enjoy touring the museum galleries.
While touring the museum, don’t miss exhibits that incorporate animals, like the the Origins Theater, where guests enjoy the colorful imagery of four origin stories, involving many animal friends. Plus, a little further into the Okla Homma gallery, stop in to the Moving Fire audio pod about the origin story of a bison. Check out all the exhibits you’ll want to be sure to see, based on your kids’ ages, here.
All participants will receive discounted admission: students in grades K-7 are $4, students in grades 8-12 are $6 and adults are $8. Discount tickets must be purchased in advance here.
First Americans Museum also offers monthly family fun through their Sunday Fun Days, held on the third Sunday of each month with free admission for kids ages 4-12 and different family fun activities each month.
