Children ages 1-4 years old are the most vulnerable to drowning. Did you know that formal swim lessons reduce the risk of drowning by 88%?
Oklahoma Swim Academy is a local, family-owned survival swim school dedicated to teaching all ages a love for safe swimming. Their experienced swim instructors use a child-centered, gentle approach as they build relationships with their students, creating and atmosphere of trust that promotes learning. They specialize in one-on-one, private survival swim lessons that balance pushing students toward their goals while having fun.
All instructors have at least 80 hours of training in a specific survival swim method accredited by the Survival Swim Development Network. Lessons are 15 min in length and customized to the child's needs based on their confidence in the water. Different scenarios are used throughout each child's program to ensure they are fully prepared to self-rescue in the case of an aquatic accident.
Parent-Tot classes are also offered for children ages 6-24 months. These 25-minute classes are a fun activity for you and your baby, designed to acclimate your little one to the water in preparation for their survival swim program. Offered once a week | $90 per month
