Canterbury Youth Voices (CYV) is an extracurricular youth choir for students in grades 2 through 12 that rehearses at two locations - one in central Oklahoma City, and one in Moore. CYV allows passionate young singers from varying schools and towns to make beautiful music together. Singers enjoy a fun and dynamic environment while developing their skills with distinguished music educators and learning appropriately challenging musical repertoire. CYV believes in performance as an important part of a singer’s training, and our students have the opportunity to perform with professional musicians at the Civic Center Music Hall and at nationally televised sporting events. In addition, students from the choir will travel to France in 2020 to perform as official representatives of the United States at a D-Day remembrance ceremony - one of a handful of children's choirs in the nation to do so. The program furthers the artistic and personal growth of our students and fosters a lifelong love of music. The tuition cost for the year is $225; all singers must also purchase a choir uniform.
