Fall in Oklahoma can bring chilly temperatures and rainy forecasts, but whatever the skies are cooking up, Science Museum Oklahoma has the best indoor fun around. With Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks on the way, it’s the perfect place to gather the whole family, burn some energy, learn something new, and make a memory that doesn’t depend on the weather.

With 390,000 square feet and more than 500 exhibits, Science Museum Oklahoma is one of the largest science museums in the nation and has enough to fill a full day and enough to bring you back again. From toddlers to grandparents, the museum entertains all ages. If you haven’t visited before or it’s been a while, there’s always something you haven’t seen yet, and a different way to experience your favorites. A Planetarium like no other

The Love’s Planetarium is among the most advanced in the country, with a hybrid technology that creates an immersive dome experience. In a state that produces so many astronauts, this isn’t just a show — it’s an interactive experience where guests can ask questions, request stops in the universe, and participate in their own cosmic adventure. With live presentations like Beyond Our Horizon and the rotating Planetarium Spotlight series, no two visits are ever the same.

A Calm Place to Recharge

Big days can mean big feelings, and crowds can be a lot. Science Museum Oklahoma’s Sensory Space, sponsored in part by Express Employment International, offers a quiet retreat for visitors of all ages and abilities. Soft lighting and cozy seating create a peaceful setting, while fidget toys, ear covers, a story map and gentle sensory panels help guests self-regulate and take a moment of calm before jumping back in.
