Looking for a new way to wrap up the weekend? OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark is giving Oklahoma families another reason to head downtown with the launch of Sundays on the Boardwalk, a free weekly event series designed especially for locals.
Beginning Sunday, August 2, and continuing every Sunday through October 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Boardwalk at OKANA will come alive with live entertainment, local vendors, wellness experiences, and family-friendly activities. Best of all, no hotel stay or waterpark admission is required to join the fun.
Each week offers something new with a rotating lineup of local businesses and pop-up experiences. Families can browse vendors featuring everything from custom trucker hats and boutiques to face painting, interactive crafts, coffee, smoothies, and dirty sodas. Adults can enjoy complimentary chair massages from The Spa at OKANA or participate in a free fitness class held each Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Oklahoma residents can also take advantage of exclusive event-day specials by showing a valid Oklahoma ID, including 10 percent off food at participating Boardwalk dining locations and discounted virtual sporting bays. There’s even a signature Sundays on the Boardwalk cocktail for adults and a weekly giveaway for a four-hour Oklahoma Slingshots rental.
While many people know OKANA as a resort destination, The Boardwalk is open to the public every day, making it an easy place to gather with friends or spend quality time with family. Sundays on the Boardwalk highlights everything the space has to offer while supporting local businesses and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for the community.
