Jan. 22

Vietnamese Lunar New Year at the Saigon Taipei Event Center (1680 SW 89th St) features activities, foods, games, traditional dance and singing performances, great prizes, raffle tickets. Free to attend. 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

Jan. 29

Lunar New Year Celebration at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features face painting, music, cultural presentations, crafts for the kids, and special performances from the Lion Dancers. Free to attend. 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Feb. 1

FREE Online Lunar New Year Storytime with the Downtown Library. Enjoy interactive songs, stories and rhymes from the comfort of your home. Registration required. 11-11:30 p.m.
