2 downtown hot spots for FREE family fun

by Elizabeth Davis

Reading Time: 2 minutes
Finding things to do with three toddlers isn’t just for the good of them — it’s to help keep my sanity! Because I chose to stay home for the majority of the last four years (almost five!), I’ve had to get creative with our extracurricular activities. Let’s face it: these kids have SOOOO much energy. Especially on cold or rainy days.
Our favorite FREE downtown spots for family fun are the Myriad Gardens and Scissortail Park. My kids always have a great time at the Children’s Garden at the Myriad, and team Davis recently visited Scissortail Park for the first time. It opened last fall and it’s still so clean and new! I also liked how accessible the park was whether you’re in a wheelchair (like Poppy) or a stroller Christopher’s favorite part is the giant SPIDER!
This family fun day reminded me that spring is coming and we will be spending MUCH more time outside again. Holllaaaaa!
