Celery Flowers for Mother's Day
Here’s a pretty activity for Mother’s Day—a nice way to say “I love you” by using your vegetables to make a creative picture.
- Markers or crayons
- Take a bunch of celery and cut off the bulkiest part of the stems in order to make the flowers full.
- Take your celery and dip it into paint.
- Hold celery stalks together and press them on to paper to make a flower-like print.
- Allow the prints to dry, then add stems, leaves and other decorations.
Have your child write a message for mom or grandma and you just created a fun, one-of-a-kind gift!
