Modern Art of Parenting 2022 Guest Speaker Agreement and Information Form

Thank you for joining us as a Modern Art of Parenting Speaker for our 2022 Virtual Summit! We are thrilled you have decided to partner with us. By completing the form below, you are also agreeing to these terms and conditions as a Guest Speaker at The (Modern) Art of Parenting (hereafter referred to as “Summit”). Please read and agree to the The (Modern) Art of Parenting 2022 Virtual Summit April 1-8, 2022 Guest Speaker Agreement by the checking the consent box below, under the contact info portion of the form.

For this form, you will need to have available a high resolution head shot/publicity photo; your bio; a list of media outlets that you’ve previously been featured in; your book titles and cover images if applicable; and your social media information.

This agreement is between The (Modern) Art of Parenting, a parenting virtual summit to be held April 1-8, 2022 as hosted by Smart Parent Media (hereafter referred to as “Summit”) and you, the speaker (hereafter referred to as “guest speaker”). 

Guest speaker agrees to be interviewed and electronically recorded to be a part of the virtual summit sessions. Guest speaker understands that their interview will be made available at no charge for attendees who register for the Summit and acknowledge that this Summit will have paid upgrade options for attendees to have access to the recordings beyond the Summit dates.

Guest speaker understands that the one-hour pre-recorded Zoom session will be scheduled for a date and time that is mutually available with the interviewer, Erin Page, between the dates of Jan. 13 and Feb. 28, 2022. Guest speaker agrees to being available during their agreed upon time.

Guest speaker agrees to have Smart Parent Media record the audio and video of their interview and consents to and authorizes the use of their name, voice, appearance, image, words, logo, participation, and title or professional designation, in whole or in part, in these recordings, and any future correspondence, publicity, or other materials based on them that relate to the Summit.

Additionally, guest speaker will provide or approve verbiage for a practical tips handout sheet based on their interview session. Guest speaker understands the intention is to use these handouts for educational, promotional and commercial applications.

Guest speaker acknowledges that a complimentary copy (electronic master) of their Summit interview can be requested and that the interview can be used by guest speaker for any purpose.

Guest speaker agrees to provide publicity materials such as a headshot, bio, book cover images, social platform and website links to the Summit in the form below and acknowledges that these materials will be used in the promotion of the Summit.

Guest speaker also agrees to do what he/she can to publicize the event to their audience through email, social media and other digital means using a unique-to-them link. They also acknowledge that for anyone who pays to upgrade their participation in the Summit through their unique link, they will receive 50% of the revenue approximately one month after the close of the Summit which is April 8, 2022. Guest speaker understands that all materials including text, images, and links for publicizing the Summit will be provided to them along with a suggested publicity plan.

This​ ​agreement​ ​shall​ ​be​ ​governed​ ​in​ ​accordance​ ​with​ Louisiana state​ ​law,​ ​may​ ​be​ ​amended only​ ​in​ ​writing,​ ​and​ ​constitutes​ ​the​ ​entire​ ​agreement​ ​of​ ​the​ ​parties​ ​with​ ​respect​ ​to​ ​its​ ​subject matter.
