Oklahoma City is alive with fun, family entertainment around every corner and we've hand-picked the top 10 FREE events happening across the metro this month.  Its easy to have fun all month long at any one of these family fun events. The best part is that all these fun things to do are completely FREE!

Here are our picks of the top 10 FREE things to do this month:

March 2

FREE Kids’ Trout Fish Out at the Dale Robertson Center (1200 Lakeshore Dr, Yukon) features a fishing derby for young anglers. Adults must be accompanied by a child. 8 - 11 a.m.

FREE Mardi Gras Parade in Downtown Norman (Main St, Norman) features parade floats, musicians, dancers and a wide array of fun and unusual characters. The parade makes its route twice! 6 - 9 p.m.

March 9

FREE Second Saturday: Drop-in Studio at Oklahoma Contemporary (3000 General Pershing Blvd) features an art-making project inspired by works of art on view at the museum. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 1 - 4 p.m.

March 12 - 23

FREE Spring Thing! at Oklahoma Hall of Fame (1400 Classen Dr) features  free museum admission, story time, movies, interactive crafts and other special activities. Each day follows a special theme. Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

March 16

FREE St. Patrick's Day Parade in Stockyard City (Penn, Exchange & Agnew Ave) features a combination of Irish and Western Heritage with longhorns, equestrian clubs, civic organizations, classic cars, marching bands and more. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

FREE Magic with Michael Corley at the Warr Acres Library (5901 NW 63rd St, Warr Acres) features a high-energy storytelling show, full of magic. Preregister. Best suited for ages 5 & up. 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

March 21

FREE Absolutely Incredible Kids Day at the Norman Central Library (225 N Webster Ave, Norman) features  a dance party and obstacle course. All ages welcome.

March 23

FREE Oklahoma Farm-to-Table Family Festival at the Oklahoma History Center (800 Nazih Zuhdi Dr) features a variety of perspectives from colonial America to modern day with hands-on activities for visitors of all ages. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

March 25

FREE Admission to the Crystal Bridge Conservatory (301 W Reno Ave) in celebration of the garden’s anniversary. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

March 31

FREE SONIC Family Day at Oklahoma City Museum of Art (415 Couch Dr) features complimentary admission to the galleries, including the special exhibition Off the Wall: One Hundred Years of Sculpture, a variety of art activities and screenings of New York International Children's Film Festival Kid Flicks. Noon - 5 p.m.
