Pick-Your-Own Farms in the OKC Metro

We're encouraging OKC families to visit a local farm and make something fresh and homemade with the produce they pick. Oklahoma Agritourism is making it easier than ever before to do this unique activity with your family with their Jelly-Making Trails. Simply visit one of the farms on the trail and bring your produce home to make something fresh and delicious. Use your fresh-picked produce to make any of the mouthwatering recipes below.

Recipes listed here are from the cooking blog Cookie+Kate (www.cookieandkate.com). This vegetarian cooking blog is produced by MetroFamily’s former art director, Kathryne Taylor, who grew up in Edmond and went to the University of Oklahoma before working for MetroFamily for two years. Her blog was named one of the best cooking blogs by Saveur Magazine in 2012 and her cookbook is now available by Rodale Press.
