Project Kindness OK

Project Kindness OK started with a simple dream, to bring people together through kindness and to spread the message that anyone can make a difference. Organizers are diligently working to offer the Oklahoma City community a variety of ways to make an impact and their latest project is underway.

"From April 20 through June 1, we are hosting a stuffed animal drive to collect donations for The Care Center here in Oklahoma," said Annie Brown, creator of Project Kindness OK.

The Care Center is a nationally-accredited child advocacy center working to end child abuse in Oklahoma County. In one of their key roles, they work with law enforcement and other agencies to conduct forensic interviews with children.

"With every appointment, they let the child pick out a new stuffed animal," Brown explained. "We want to help ensure that both their stuffed animal supply and the happiness of those children don't get low anytime soon!"

New stuffed animals can be drop off at eight locations in the metro. To learn more, visit www.projectkindnessok.com
