Our readers voted for the best in all things local: shops, services, restaurants, schools, doctors, service providers, parks, museums and more!
Because parents know best, MetroFamily’s annual “best of” awards, Family Favorites, relies on nominations and votes from our readers to determine the best family-friendly businesses in the Oklahoma City metro. Congratulations to the winners and finalists in our 2025 Family Favorites contest! With nearly 6,500 nominations, 31,000 votes and 3,200 community members participating, they’ve earned a prestigious spot as one of the top 5 local businesses in each category.

Here’s how Family Favorites works:
- Nominations were accepted between March 24-April 11. And you can nominate every day!
- The top nominees in each category are voted on in the second round, open May 1-19, to determine one winner in each category and four finalists.
- Support local businesses by nominating and voting for your favorites below, and you will be entered for a chance to win a family fun staycation that includes a two-night stay* at The Ellison, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, in OKC, breakfast at Milo, a prize package to the OKC Zoo, a $50 Spark gift card good at any of Spark’s 3 locations and a $100 gift card to any Hal Smith restaurant. (Editor’s Note: To be eligible to win the grand prize, participants must nominate and vote at least 20 times in each round. Nominating and voting as often as each day boosts your favorite’s chance of winning the title of OKC’s Family Favorite.)
