Thanks to Myriad Botanical Gardens, there will be a limited number of free and low cost trees available this Saturday between 10 am and noon at Scissortail Park. The trees are from the recently held Tree For All, sponsored by Cox. This popular event is designed to assist homeowners in promoting natural beautification and improvement of the environment through the planting of trees, diversifying the green canopy in Oklahoma City and ensuring a sustainable and biodiverse landscape

The first 100 people to arrive will receive a free 24-to-36-inch bare root River Birch or Bur Oak seedling as available. Trees for sale are in 3-gallon containers and include Trident Maples and Shumard Oaks for $15 each. They are approximately 6-feet in height. Tree For All Second Sale will be held near Robinson Avenue by the American Fidelity Picnic Grove on the east side of the Park. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
