7 Drive-In Movie Theaters in Oklahoma

Attending a drive-in movie is a favorite American summer activity. You just can't beat the nostalgia of loading up in the family car and heading out to catch a movie under the stars. While drive-in movie theaters used to appear all over the map, numbers have dwindled in recent years. But don't worry! We've done some research and found seven fabulous drive-in movie theaters still operating in Oklahoma today.  

In the Oklahoma City metro area:

Chief Drive-In (Hwy 81, Chickasha) shows a double feature seven days a week. Open year-round. Miniature golf open prior to movies. No outside concessions allowed. Adults, $7 (cash) $7.50 (card); kids (3-11), $5. Gates open 7:30 p.m.; movie, 9 p.m. 224-1515.

Beacon Drive-In (2404 S. Division, Guthrie) shows a single feature. Stop by early on Saturdays for the Guthrie Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Adults, $7; kids (3-11), $4. Cash only. Open every night, 8 p.m.; movie starts at dusk. 

Winschester Drive-In (6930 S. Western Ave) is open seven days a week for the summer season and shows a double feature. No outside food or drinks allowed. Adults, $7; kids (3-10), $3. Cash only. Gates open at 7:30 p.m.; first movie, 9:10 p.m.; second movie, 11:25 p.m. 

Throughout Oklahoma:

Tower Drive-In (2214 N Broadway, Poteau) is a digital drive-in movie theater focusing on fun, unique, family entertainment. Showing movies seven days a week seasonally. Check Facebook page for movies, showtimes and special deals. Adults, $7; kids, $4. Movies start at dark. 

Admiral Twin Drive-In (7355 E Easton, Tulsa) offers two 9-story screens showing a nightly double feature. No outside food or drink allowed. Concession features a full kitchen offering hamburgers, popcorn and more. Adults, $7; kids (3-11), $3. Movies start at dark. 

Corral Drive-In (825 W Hwy 54, Guymon) features a nightly double feature on weekends, a Pizzeria & Grill and a playground to entertain the kids while you wait for the movie to start. Cash only at ticket booth. Adults, $7; kids (4-12), $5. Box office opens at 7 p.m.; movies at dark. 

EL-CO Drive-In (501 N Main St, Shattuck) shows a single feature Friday & Saturday. Theater requests no outside food or drink. Adults, $6; kids, $5. Movies start at 9:30 p.m.
