I went out to Tiger Safari last year and was apalled at what I saw. There was fruit in the cages that was covered with mold, meat in the big cat cages that had maggots in it and almost empty, dirty water bowls. When I mentioned to the guide that the ferrets looked sick, he just rolled his eyes and said, yeah, one died not too long ago. After listening to some of the kids that work there talking amongst themselves, it seemed like several animals had died.
I honestly think the director there is only interested in getting people in to get their money.
When it was time for my daughter's birthday this year, she wanted to have an animal party. I was determined I would not support that place and found an ad in a child's magazine for Extreme Animals. I called the lady in Edmond and she was very nice and informative. They brought the animals to us and it was absolutely the best party we have ever had or been to. My daughter is still talking about it! All the animals looked very healthy and spoiled. It was easy to see they were very loved. When I asked them about Tiger Safari, they would not say anything bad, but just changed the subject. Why do you not have Extreme Animals under your animal adventures option? Everyone at our party absolutely loved them.

We were at the State Fair last weekend and saw the Tiger Safari booth. As we were standing there, with our children, we heard people talking about 'Jesse Jane' being on the video with the tigers. I then found out from the other people there that she is a porn-star. My kids started asking me what's a porn star and does she work at Tiger Safari? I cannot believe a place that is supposed to be family friendly would promote the porn industry! I had actually booked a field trip out there this fall for my small daycare, which we will not be attending now. I will also never take my family out there to support such a place! Shame on you, Tiger Safari for supporting an industry that is so harmful to our children!

Tiger Safari Zoo is a perfectly safe and child friendly zoo. I have been there numerous times and have always had great experiences. There is always something new to see and do. Right now there is a baby Kangaroos
I would highly recommend this zoo. It was rated Top Three Places to Go For Children.
