Branson Landing, the newest area in an old resort favorite, gives Branson, MO some much-needed

cache with a row of luxury retail options nestled next to the river. Shopping enthusiasts could easily while away an entire day on Branson Landing before heading off to a show.
Shoppers will find everything from high-end apparel like Ann Taylor Loft, Chico’s, Cache, Coldwater Creek, White House|Black Market and J. Jill to children’s apparel at The Children’s Place and Strasburg Children. Kids can be satiated at Build-A-Bear and Ridemakerz.
A peek inside the shops proved that summer brights are in full bloom with clothing and accessories in hues of aqua blue, orange and yellow. Madras shorts and dresses punctuated every clothing rack and bags were big, floral and fun.
Not in the mood to clothes shop? Try Kirkland Home for summer décor or Brighton Collectibles for new sunglasses (around $70) or their popular new sterling charm collection (charms averaging $8.50). In the health and beauty department, stock up at Bath & Body Works or Bath Junkie.
If your jewelry isn’t summer worthy, never fear. A quick jaunt into Claire’s, Francesca’s Collection or Trendi will set you up. Earrings, too, are bigger and sparklier than ever.
What would a shopping spree be without shoes? And really, aren’t your summer sandals looking a little shall we say, shabby? Famous Footwear and Payless will surely have the right pair for that breezy new dress purchase. I loved the patent leather offerings in bright colors and the shimmery gold and silver sandals.
Now if only I could’ve plowed through all the shops instead of Silver Dollar City. What’s a modmama to do?
