Eating better, despite the holidays

I did it again! I made it through the Christmas holiday without gaining any weight! I actually lost 2 pounds. The fitness center was closed during the week of Christmas, but I still exercised at home. I met with my nutritionist, Ladonna Dunlop, the week before Christmas and she informed me that I wasn’t eating enough. No…I couldn’t believe it either. I now have a 1400-calorie meal plan, and tons of information to help me to continue my journey.

I feel so inspired to continue with the weight loss. I am looking forward to the New Year. I have set a goal for myself to lose 65 lbs by June, and I’m determined to make it. I know that it will be tough, but with the loving support of my family and friends, I’ll do it.

My advice to anyone who is planning on making a lifestyle change is to pray and commit yourself to a healthier life. Your rewards are endless.
