I went to a comedy show for the first time in years and was able to comfortably fit in the theatre seats. Half way through the show I started crying. My girlfriends thought the tears from my eyes were because I was laughing at the comedian. I was crying tears of joy because of realizing where I was sitting and my weight had kept me from living normally. I am so thankful to MetroFamily Magazine, and others who are giving me the opportunity to take my life in a new direction.
