MetroFamily events are designed to prove parents with exactly the information they need, up close and personal. We host our own events and we also support many community events.

Parent University: Held every fall and spring semester, these events feature nationally-noted child development and education experts speaking on topics of interest to parents. For example, in February, 2007, we brought Dr. Mel Levine, America's top learning expert, to a sell-out audience of parents and educators to talk about "One Mind at a Time" and the Schools Attuned program. Most recently, Dr. Michael Popkin presented on his new book "Taming the Spirited Child: Strategies for Parenting Challenging Children Without Breaking Their Spirits."
