2016 Summer Outdoor Movie & Concert Lineup

Long summer days lead to warm summer nights and a few extra hours to enjoy outdoor fun! To help fill those extra hours, here is a list of outdoor movies and concerts happening across the Oklahoma City metro. Pack up the family and a bottle of bug spray and head out to enjoy a flick or some tunes under the stars.

Outdoor Concerts happening across the metro:

FREE Sunday Twilight Concert Series at presented by Arts Council of Oklahoma City on Sundays June through mid-Sept. from 7:30-9 p.m. Bring your family and a picnic and enjoy the great music. 

FREE Summer Breeze Concert Series at Lions Park (Flood & Symmes, Norman) on select Sunday evenings through August. 7:30 p.m. 

FREE Tunes & Trucks at Mustang Town Center (1201 N Mustang, Mustang) features a variety of outdoor fun in June, including live music, movies and food trucks. Tuesdays in June, 7 p.m.

FREE Concerts in the Park at Hafer Park (1034 S. Bryant, Edmond) on Thursdays, June 2 – August 4, 6:15-8:45 p.m. 

FREE JamzNJune Concert Series at Charles Johnson Central Park (SE 29th St & Mid-America Blvd, Midwest City) offers musical entertainment by local and regional performers on Thursdays in June. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and coolers. 7-9 p.m.

Art After 5 at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art (415 Couch Dr) on Thursdays at 5 p.m. Admission includes access to the museum’s permanent collection, any special exhibitions and the Roof Terrace, which is open seasonally, April through October, weather permitting. FREE for members, $5 for non-members. Galleries close at 9 p.m. and last call on the Roof Terrace is at 10 p.m.

FREE Glow Music Festival Series on the Oklahoma River (725 S Lincoln Blvd) features live music from local bands, sand volleyball, river activities, food trucks and a FREE FAA Credit Union Summer Movie. Select Friday from June to Oct., Activities begin at 6 p.m.; movie 8:30 p.m.

FREE Summer Nights Concert Series at Central Park Amphitheater in Moore (700 S Broadway, Moore) on Friday nights in June, 7-9 p.m.  

FREE Summer Sounds Concert Series at Veterans Park (705 NW 10th St, Newcastle) features live music, food trucks, inflatables and more, on the 2nd Saturday of the month from June to August. 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Outdoor Movies happening across the metro:

FREE Sunset Cinemas at Charles J. Johnson Central Park (SE 29th St & Mid-America Blvd, Midwest City) features free, family-friendly movies on Sundays in July. Movies begin at dusk. Lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments welcome.

FREE SONIC Summer Movies at Myriad Botanical Gardens’ Great Lawn (301 W Reno) on select Wednesdays in July & August, 8-10 p.m. 

FREE Movie Night @ the Park at Mitch and Stephenson Park in Edmond. Movies start at dusk. Food and concessions available for purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed. Fridays in March - Oct.

FREE Movies in the Park at Central Park Amphitheater (700 S Broadway, Moore) on Friday May 27 & August 12. Activities begin at 7 p.m.; movie at 9 p.m. Concessions available: popcorn, FREE; snow cones, $1.

FREE Family Friendly Summer Movies in the Park at Messiah Lutheran Church & School (3600 NW Expressway) features live music, games, movie-themed crafts, concessions and outdoor screening of movies. Wednesdays in June, 7 p.m.

FREE Floating Films in the Boathouse District (725 S Lincoln Blvd) features water-themed films show at the whitewater rafting & kayaking center. Watch the movie water side or floating on the water. Tube rentals, $10. Select Fridays all summer long.

FREE Outdoor Movie Series at Andrews Park (201 W Daws, Norman) features a FREE outdoor screening of popular movies and inflatables, face painting, music, arts & crafts and more on select Fridays all summer long. Activities begin at 7 p.m.; movie at sundown.

Dive-In Movies at White Water Bay (3908 W Reno, OKC) on Fridays in July. Movies start at dusk. FREE with park admission.
