Whether you are on the go or just need quick access to information, MetroFamily Mobile will help you:
- View and search for family-friendly events and activities in our online calendar.
- Search directory listings for after-school activities, birthday party venues, tutors and more.
- Read our Top Picks—the most current and useful articles and information from MetroFamily's website.
- View our Weekend Picks—our top 10 "don't miss" events each weekend!
- Read current blog posts from our local bloggers.
To download MetroFamily Mobile:
- Visit the iTunes app store on your iPhone or computer and search for "MetroFamily."
- Download the app for free.
- Click the MetroFamily app to get started!
Helpul Hints about using MetroFamily Mobile
- Once you have opened the app, get started by touching any of our main menu items—Calendar, Directories, Top Picks, Weekend Picks or Blogs.
- Please note that, for some menu items, you may have to click through a second or third screen to reach the desired content.
- The calendar automatically displays all the events for the current day. To see events taking place on a different day, click the magnifying glass in the top right corner.
- To find more information about a specific calendar event, click on the event's name to be taken to a more in-depth description. To get directions, click on the venue's address to be taken to the mapping function on your phone.

The calendar section needs to be searchable - it would take a long time to look for an event a month away scrolling through every day to get there.
