Dye your eggs and get the baskets ready! It's Easter time in Oklahoma City and there are plenty of fun events taking place in the metro. We are pleased to present our 2018 Easter Fun Guide, which is packed with the best Easter-themed events, activities, egg hunts and places to take Easter Bunny photos with your family. Friday, March 30

  • Easter EGG-stravaganza at K9 University (9217 NW Expressway, Yukon) features multiple treat-hunts for you and your pup, food trucks and a selfie photo area set up to take festive Easter pics with the Easter Bunny. Donations required. Admission to participate is one unopened bag of pet food, a pet related item or a $5 monetary donation to Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma City. Preregistration advised to make sure your dog has a spot in the hunts. 5 - 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 31
 

  • FREE Easter Egg Hunt at St. Luke's United Methodist Church (900 N Sooner Rd, Edmond) & Oklahoma City University Quad (2501 N Blackwelder) features an Easter egg hunt, inflatables and treats. 10 a.m.

  • FREE Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Edmond's First Baptist Church at Mitch Park (1501 W Covell Rd, Edmond) features Easter egg hunts with over 35,000 eggs, bubbles, face painting, food trucks, crafts and more. There will be egg hunts for all age groups from toddlers to 5th grade. 4 - 6 p.m.

March 31 & April 1

  • FREE Easter Land at People's Church (various locations) features a FREE one weekend theme park at all three People’s Church locations. Festivities include over 60,000 pieces of candy, over 30,000 Easter eggs, carnival rides, petting zoo and more. See website for locations and service times.

Sunday, April 1

  • FREE Easter Sunday Worship Services at First United Methodist Church of Edmond (305 E Hurd St, Edmond) features a selection of services with music provided by the church's adult and children's choirs and The Hurd Street Band. 7 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:50 a.m. & 11 a.m. 

  • FREE Easter Celebration at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church (1212 Bedford Dr, Nichols Hills) features a family breakfast, Easter egg hunt and two worship services, complete with music and a message that relates the events of Jesus’ death and resurrection. All ages welcome. 8:30 & 10:15 a.m.

  • FREE Easter in Edmond Services at New Covenant United Methodist Church (2700 S Boulevard, Edmond) features an Easter worship experience that captures the hope and excitement of Easter through live music and an inspiring Easter message. 8:45 a.m., 11 a.m. & 11:03 a.m.


March 28

FREE Eggstravaganza at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History (2401 Chautauqua, Norman) features complimentary admission, games, crafts, discovery tables with museum specimens to explore, photos with the Easter bunny and an egg hunt. 4 - 7 p.m.

March 29

Sensory Sensitive Easter Evening at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features festive booths for children to visit and collect eggs. The Easter bunny will have a designated spot for photos throughout the evening. Preregister. Members, $10; nonmembers, $12; adults, FREE. 6 - 8 p.m.

March 29 - April 1

FREE Easter in Edmond Services at New Covenant United Methodist Church (2700 S Boulevard, Edmond) features an Easter worship experience that captures the hope and excitement of Easter through live music and an inspiring Easter message including a Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday service. March 30

FREE Norman's Best Easter Egg Hunt at Andrews Park (201 N Daws St, Norman) features pictures with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera), inflatables, family activities and age-divided hunts for ages 8 & under. Activities, 5:30 p.m.; Hunt, 6:30 p.m.

March 31

Easter Bunny Breakfast at Andy Alligator's Fun Park (3300 Market Pl, Norman). Families can meet the Easter Bunny, take a photo and share breakfast together. $12.95. 9 - 10 a.m.

Easter Run at The Cube at Council Road Baptist Church (7903 NW 30th St) features  a 10K, 5K, a fun walk and free family fun including inflatable games, Easter egg hunts and food trucks. $15 - $30. 9 a.m. – noon

Egg Hunt 5K at Star & Stripes Park (3701 S Lake Hefner Dr) features an officially-time race with a twist. Runners can hunt for egg along the race path to improve their time, win prizes and collect goody-filled eggs. Kids 5 & under can participate in a traditional egg hunt. $5-$35. 9:15 a.m. - noon.

Easter on the Green at Will Rogers Park (3400 NW 36th St) features Easter egg hunts, face painting, Easter plantings, crafts and photo with the Easter bunny. Preregister, all ages welcome. $2. Activities, 9:30 a.m. - noon; hunts, 9:30 & 11 a.m.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Orr Family Farm (14400 S Western Ave) features breakfast, an Easter craft, photos with the Easter Bunny and more. Bring camera for photos. Preregister; tickets include general farm admission. $21.50. 10 - 11 a.m.

FREE Easter Family Fun Day at The CUBE at Council Road (7903 NW 30th St, Bethany) features Easter egg hunts, inflatables, and face painting. 10 a.m. - noon.

The Great Egg Hunt at Yukon High School (1777 S Yukon Parkway, Yukon) features an Easter egg hunt, inflatables, food trucks, face painting, petting zoo, giveaways and more, hosted by Discovery Church. All ages welcome. 10 a.m – noon.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (10600 N Council Rd) features food, inflatables, a cupcake walk, face painting and an Easter egg hunt. 10 a.m. – noon.

FREE Easter Celebration at the Chickasaw Cultural Center (867 Cooper Memorial Rd, Sulphur) features an Easter egg hunt and a variety of holiday-themed activities including games, stomp dance and cultural demonstrations and family-friendly films. Activities, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; hunts, 1 p.m.

FREE Kings and Queens Sensory Easter Egg Hunt at Overholser Elementary School (7900 NW 36th St, Bethany) features an Easter egg hunt designed especially for children with special needs, as well as hot dogs and more.. Preregister. 10:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

FREE Piedmont Easter Egg Hunt at Piedmont City Hall (314 Edmond Rd NW, Piedmont) features an Easter egg hunt, inflatables, pickles & pups, fire trucks, an appearance by the Easter bunny, food trucks and a petting zoo. For ages 2 - 12. 11 a.m - 2 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Overholser Elementary School (7900 NW 36th St, Bethany) features a family-friendly Easter egg hunt with candy, toys, hot dogs, and more, hosted by St. Mark's UMC. 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Western Oaks Christian Church (8100 NW 23rd St) features a free community event with face painting, a bouncing house, music, cotton candy, crafts, games and an Easter egg hunt. Best suited for kids in 5th grade and younger. Bring a basket or other container to use while gathering eggs. 11 a.m.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Orr Family Farm (14400 S Western Ave) features Easter egg hunts and photos with the Easter bunny, as well as the farm's regular attractions. Egg hunts open to ages 11 & under. $11.50 & up. 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

FREE Easter Eggstravaganza at God of No Limits Family Ministries (7200 S Walker Ave) features FREE food, games and prizes. Noon - 2 p.m.

Doggie Easter Egg Hunt at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features a pooch-centered hunt with doggie treats and puppy prize filled eggs. Pets must be on a leash and have proof of current vaccinations. Preregister. Members, $5 per dog; nonmembers, $10 per dog. 12:30 p.m.

Natural Easter Egg Dyeing at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave). Create Easter egg masterpieces using natural materials from the garden. Preregister. Best suited for ages 6 - 10. Members, $12; nonmembers,$15. 1 - 2:30 p.m.  

Bird Egg Hunt at Martin Park Nature Center (5000 W Memorial Rd). Replica bird eggs will be scattered throughout a meadow, and it's your job to find one of each species and learn about its unique characteristics. Preregister. $4 online; $5 day of. For ages 3-6, 1 p.m.; ages 7-9, 3 p.m.

Easter Eggstravaganza in the Gardens at Myriad Gardens (301 W Reno Ave) features age-divided Easter egg hunts with special prize eggs, an appearance by the Easter Bunny and family activities including Easter Hat Parade, Egg Roll, Bunny Hop and more. Preregister. Best suited for ages 8 & under. Members, $8; on-members, $10; adults, free. 2:30 – 5 p.m.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Crown Heights Christian Church (4020 N Western Ave) features a family friendly egg hunt for kids in 5th grade and under. Attendees can enjoy dessert after the hunt. 3 – 4 p.m.

Easter Brunch at the Museum Grill at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (1700 NE 63rd St) features a buffet style brunch with a special Easter menu. Price includes museum admission. Reservations required. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

FREE Easter Activities at Winners Church (16000 N Western Ave) features an Easter egg hunt for toddlers and kids ages 3-18 with eggs filled with candy and prizes, refreshments and a worship experience with Senior Pastor Ziggy Sanchez. 4 - 7 p.m.

April 7

FREE Hound Hunt at Edmond Dog Park (E. 33rd & Rankin, Edmond) features a pet friendly egg hunt where dogs can sniff out eggs filled with dog treats. 2 p.m.
