Little Spanish Bridge

Parents (and grandparents) are busy! We know it’s not easy to juggle all that life entails, so we put together a list of Parent & Child classes offered around the metro. These multi-tasking classes let you and your child get in some exercise, learn a new skill or simply have some fun together.

Aqua Tots

30-minute Parent & Tot classes focus on water adjustment, safety skills and breath control and equip parents with proper holds and safe submersion techniques to help their child to become confident in the water. Classes are open to age 4 – 30 mos.

Bilingual Family

2900 W Hefner Rd, The Village; 405-613-0183

In this Spanish immersion class, families learn key phrases and vocabulary through music, movement and play. Classes have a low student/teacher ratio and are offered two days a week.

Fit4Mom Stroller Strides

Stroller Strides is a fitness program for moms that include power walking and strength and body toning exercises. Babies enjoy fun songs and other engaging activities.  Classes are offered several times a week at various locations.

Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art

On select Tuesdays, families are invited to join in on a FREE art experience through books. Enjoy storytime and a related art project for kids ages 3 – 8 with a parent or guardian.

Goldfish Swim School

10 NW 146th St, Edmond; 405-696-7500

Help your little one be water safe at one of the school’s Mini swim lessons. With adult participation, babies from three and under get used to water play and build water safety skills along the way.

Oklahoma Swim Academy

Parent-Tot classes are designed for parents, or other caretakers, to partner with an instructor to help their baby learn floating, submersion, mouth closure and breath control, offering a gentler introduction to the Oklahoma Swim Academy program.

Metro Gymnastics

Metro Gymnastics has two ways parents and kids can have fun together. Whether you enroll in their Mini Mights Parent Toddler classes or enjoy their open gym time on Thursdays, parents can explore a variety of activities with their child, building physical and mental skills, while having fun together.

Metropolitan Library System

The Metropolitan Library System offers a wealth of activities for families. Enjoy a weekly storytime or guided playtime together!

Musical Me! 

2 metro locations

Classes are designed to strengthen parent-child bonds with fun activities such as instrument play, dance and more. With five levels available for infants and toddlers, each class offers age-appropriate activities that are in line with research-based child development.

Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics Tiny Tots

707 Centennial Blvd, Edmond; 405-341-1175

This parent participation class aims to help kids with coordination, body awareness and jump-start their beginning motor skills through music and play. The class is 45 minutes and is open to kids ages 12 – 17 mos.

Kindermusik

4 metro locations

With the help of a trained instructor, families engage in a variety of creativity-building fun including singing, dancing and more. Classes focus on different development stages from newborn to age 7 including kids with English as a second language and children with developmental challenges.

Little Spanish Bridge

The Little Spanish Bridge encourages families to learn together. The full immersion parent/child classes use Montessori activities, songs, games, rhymes, exercising, pretending and more to engage cognitive, social and emotional skills with language skills.

SoccerCity OKC

SoccerCity OKC Lil Kickers Child Development program focuses on building a strong physical, intellectual and emotional foundation that will help children be successful on and off the soccer field. Parents and kids under 3 years old work together in a series of highly creative, high energy and age-appropriate activities that teach technically sound soccer skills and help children master the developmental milestones.

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church

2 metro locations

The Mommy & Me group hosts regular playdates at their Edmond and Downtown locations so moms and kids can have fun together. Best suited for moms with kids ages 4 & under.

Velocity Dance Studio

This class is designed for toddlers who love to move with their favorite grown-ups!  In a fun environment, kids ages 18 months to 3 years old can develop fine and gross motor skills through the use of music, dance and finger play. Parents get to participate and encourage their child throughout the class.
