Description:

The Sam Noble Museum located on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman is filled with permanent galleries where families can see, touch and explore over 50,000 square feet of Oklahoma’s natural and cultural history.

You’ll see awesome dinosaurs including the Pentaceratops that holds the Guinness World Record for having the tallest skull of any land animal. Journey through prehistoric Oklahoma in the Hall of Ancient Life and see a giant 90-foot long Apatosaurus protecting its’ young while locked in battle with the Jurassic predator Saurophaganax.

Explore discovery tables filled with objects and specimens and uncover dinosaur fossils in the Discovery Room’s Dinosaur Dig or ride a Dinovator 26 feet up and meet Jurassic giants eye to eye.

Walk-through a limestone cave then test your knowledge of Oklahoma’s landscape and wildlife with interactive touch screen computers in the Black Mesa diorama. Surround yourself with the sights and sounds of life on a mixed-grass prairie with the mighty American bison or a highland stream running through an oak-hickory forest.
