Spring and summer bring endless opportunities for outdoor fun to the Oklahoma City metro. Communities in the metro host exciting events filled with live music, local food and activities for guests of all ages. Grab your family and take part in thrilling street festivals in your community this spring or summer.

FREE First Friday Gallery Walk in the Paseo Arts District (NW 30th & 27th Streets, Walker and Hudson Ave.) featuring special themed exhibits, refreshments, guest artists and a variety of entertainment opportunities. More than 20 galleries and several restaurants all within walking distance stay open late to celebrate Oklahoma City’s art community. Entry and most activities are free. First Friday, 6 to 10 p.m.
FREE 2nd Friday Norman Art Walk in the Norman Arts District (Downtown Norman) features a variety of visual and performing arts. Whether you like dance, painting, photography or music, there will be plenty for you to see and hear. All events are free and open to the public. Second Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.
FREE LIVE on the Plaza in the Plaza District (1700 block of NW 16th St). Each second Friday rain or shine, Plaza District businesses stay open late with featured artists, live music, special events, local shopping and more. The event is free to attend and runs from 7 - 11 p.m.
FREE Red Brick Nights in Downtown Guthrie (Oklahoma & Wentz Ave, Guthrie) features rotating pop-up shops, food trucks and live music, on the first Saturday each the month May through September. FREE to attend. 5 p.m.
FREE South OKC Treat Food Truck Fest at Oakcrest Church of Christ (1111 SW 89th St) features an evening of family-friendly fun including food trucks, live music, family games and more, on the second Friday each month from May to October. 6 - 10 p.m.
FREE 3rd Friday Block pARTy in Downtown Shawnee (Main St, Shawnee). Local restaurants, art galleries and merchants are open late. Roam between quaint shops and stores to find unique art pieces and have some delicious food and also enjoy live performances from local musicians. Entry is free. Third Friday, 5 to 8 p.m.
FREE Heard on Hurd Street Fest in Downtown Edmond (Broadway between Main and Hurd) is a pop-up celebration of all things local featuring local musicians and some of the Metro’s best food trucks. Small businesses stay open late for shopping. Entry and most activities are free. Held seasonally, Third Saturday, 6 to 10 p.m.
FREE Industry Flea in Midtown (10th & Hudson) is an open-air market featuring food trucks, live music and a variety of artisans and shops offering vintage clothing, furniture, art, locally-made food and more, happening on select days, March 25 & Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission to the market is free.
FREE Beats & Bites at Riverwind Casino (1544 W State HWY 9, Norman) is a monthly family-friendly music and food truck festival. Dine on some of the best cuisine from local food trucks while enjoying live entertainment under the stars from 6 to 10 p.m. Upcoming Beats & Bites dates are still to be determined for 2017.
FREE Uptown 23rd Farmers Market in Uptown Oklahoma City (Walker Ave between 23rd & 24th St) is an interactive bi-monthly market featuring local vendors and artisans selling goods along with activities, live music, workshops and other fun activities. Open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from May to October on select Sundays.
