Truffula Tree

March 2 is Dr. Suess’ birthday! In honor of him and the forthcoming cinematic debut of his popular book "The Lorax", here is how you and your child can make some Truffula Trees of your own.

Supplies:

  • Glue
  • Cotton balls
  • Markers
  • Pipe cleaners

Directions:

  • Use the markers to dot color onto the cotton balls.
  • Glue the cotton ball on top of the pipe cleaner.
  • "Plant" your new Truffula Trees in green play dough or display them in a vase.
