Previously known as the Harry Potter Festival, this non-profit, volunteer-ran community festival celebrates Harry Potter and the adventures of reading.
Activities planned include:
Costumes are not required, but is strongly encouraged. Prizes will be award to the best-dressed witch, wizard or magical creature.
All ages are welcome.
Shuttles from Bishop McGuiness High School, located north of the festival, and First Christian Church at NW 36th St. and N. Walker are planned. Event organizers are encouraging folks to walk, bike or ride-share to the festival to cut back on parking needs.
